What Makes Wall-to-Wall Different
Broadloom carpet comes in wide rolls and is cut, seamed where needed, and stretched to fit the exact dimensions of the room. It gives a more uniform, higher-end appearance than carpet tile, with fewer visible seams.
For a true edge-to-edge fit, including irregular room shapes.
And sealed properly, away from high-traffic areas.
Not chosen based on looks alone.
So the carpet stays tight through Calgary's temperature swings.
Broadloom comes in fixed widths, so most large rooms need at least one seam. The seam plan is drawn while we measure.
Seams are placed out of doorways and the main sight line from the door, and sealed so they lie flat.
Patterned carpet needs its repeat planned into every seam so the pattern runs unbroken across the room.

New light grey loop-pile carpet installed wall to wall through the upper hallway of a Crossfield home. The carpet runs door to door and finishes at a metal transition strip in the doorway.
Broadloom comes in 12-foot (sometimes 13.5-foot) widths, so most large rooms need at least one seam. Where that seam lands is a planning decision: across the main sight line from the doorway is amateur hour; parallel to the window light and under furniture zones is craft. We draw the seam plan during measuring and walk you through it before ordering.
The classic Calgary configuration – hard flooring on the main level, carpet from the stairs up – makes wall-to-wall the comfort layer of the house. Bonus rooms over garages particularly benefit: carpet and good pad quiet the room and warm a floor that sits above unheated space. If your bonus room is the cold room in winter, the flooring is part of the fix.
Seams are sometimes unavoidable in larger rooms depending on carpet roll width, but we place and seal them away from doorways and high-traffic sightlines so they're as unobtrusive as possible.
Wall-to-wall is installed as one continuous piece for a seamless look; carpet tile is modular squares that can be individually replaced. We install both, depending on the space.
Yes – precise measuring accounts for irregular shapes, alcoves and closets as part of the cut.
